1. Be kind – everyone you meet is a human being not a ‘human done.’ In other words, we’re all still becoming something great.
2. Make time to relate – relating implies being together. It requires communication, seeing life from another’s point of view, and communing whether verbally or non-verbally. Never seeking out ‘your friend’ is not a relationship.
3. Season your communication with love – even when you have to tell your friend that her makeup gives her an alien allure, say it with grace. Say, “I’m sure your makeup artist didn’t intend your face to look so green” while you rub the garish stuff off your friend’s face. 😉
