Are you oversharing?

Do you run to social media everytime something new happens in your life?
Or do you tell everything about your life just as a habit?
When you do this, you expose yourself unnecessarily which makes you vulnerable to all manner of people and circumstances. Yes, you will encounter supporters but, you will also attract bullies; and even criminals and predators. For example, telling the internet that you are heading out of town, may inform thieves that it is a good time to visit your home. As a youth, when you declare your conflict with protective family members could signal to predators that you are easy pickings.

Rather than tell your business online, keep the most important and pertinent details of your life to yourself. Tell people who need to hear not everyone just passing by on the internet streets. Privacy on certain matters will protect you. Stay safe online.
