No Aso Ebi for Coro

What should I wear? Would I be under-dressed? Does lilac go with fuchsia? Perhaps, I should have bought the aso ebi.

When should I go? The invitation said 6:00 pm and it is already 8. How many hours difference is African time?

Where should I go? If they are still at the house, I can just drop the gift and come back and rest jeje. Or should I head to Sister Buki’s party first?

Which should I attend? Pastor Remi’s 50th or Aunty Lara’s third 70th? Or the 4th revival service this month? For once, an August weekend with no visitors.

How do I go? If I drive my jalopy, would anyone even greet me? Or should I take an Uber? How will I get back?

Who should I go with? Maybe I should call Bola to come along; but she doesn’t like the celebrant. But I can’t come and go and sit alone na. Who will I know there?

What should I go for? Morning thanksgiving, afternoon housewarming, evening hangout, or night party?

Why go? We don’t know even each other like that. It’s going to cost me a week’s pay to show up. And the celebrant won’t notice I’m there.

Thankfully, no aso ebi for coro. We’re all under lockdown.
